In the air conditioning industry, we use the term air handler to define the group of parts that moves the air through your house. The air handler is sometimes referred to as the inside unit because it is frequently located in a mechanical closet in your home. The air handler draws air from your house by a blower and forces it across the evaporator coils. This removes heat and moisture from the air. The cool, comfortable air is then pushed into the ducts and delivered throughout your house to keep you comfortable.
