Established 2016
Built on the Highest Standards
Long Heating and Cooling was established in 2016 by Kevin Long. Kevin graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He married his wife, Anna, and they moved to Fort Rucker, where he began his 8 year career as an Army Aviator. His time in the military took him around the States and a deployment to Afghanistan, where he served for a year. While in the Army he also earned a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Kevin and Anna have been married 19 years and have 9 children, both biological and adopted. Kevin’s interests include distance running with his wife, spending time with his family, and reading up on the most state-of-the-art HVAC technology to best equip his clients.

From Serving the Country to Serving the Community
After his military years, Kevin began work in the corporate energy sector. In 2013, his family relocated from the northeast to the Wiregrass, where they desired to raise their family.
Excited to start a family business and serve the community where they first began, Kevin established Long Heating and Cooling in 2016.
Aaron
HVAC Technician
Aaron was trained in HVAC installation at the Total Tech Training Center. He finds his work rewarding and enjoys being able to improve others’ day.
Eli
HVAC Technician
Eli received HVAC training at Wallace Community College. He has always been fascinated by how things work and fixing things that are broken. Honesty and doing a job well are strong values for Eli.
Ezra
HVAC Technician
Ezra also attended Wallace Community College for HVAC training . He developed a strong work ethic growing up on a small farm. Ezra believes it is very important to work diligently, enjoy it, and make the world a better place.
Jacob
HVAC Technician
Jacob has been trained in HVAC service and maintenance. He prefers to be outside as much as possible and likes working with his hands. He says that his favorite part of the job is the opportunity to solve problems.
Samuel
HVAC Technician
Samuel is a natural technician who has loved working with his hands for as long as he can remember. Samuel is from a large family with 5 brothers and a sister. He also enjoys wood working as a hobby.
